It is strongly advised that the client seek advice and clearance from a medical professional prior to the commencement of physical activity.
It is the client's responsibility to ensure that they have no undiagnosed health issues that might affect their ability to engage in or be exacerbated by strenuous exercise.
Where there are known medical conditions or concerns, these should be disclosed to Stamford Sports Performance before starting the exercise programme. Prior to commencement of the programme, we require written clearance to exercise from your GP, along with a written, detailed medical history and a list of current repeat medications. Whilst having a pre-existing health condition is not a reason for exclusion, failure to provide any the required information will prevent you from being enrolled on to the programme.
Advice on how to obtain this information from your GP Health Record is detailed on the NHS Website.
Additionally, the client agrees to promptly inform Stamford Sports Performance of any changes in their health status, including but not limited to:
-
Newly diagnosed medical conditions.
-
Changes in medication prescriptions or dosage.
-
Injuries, discomfort, or pain experienced during or outside of exercise sessions.
This information is crucial for Stamford Sports Performance to tailor the exercise programme safely and effectively. Failure to disclose such changes in health status or medication may impact the suitability of the exercise programme and could potentially lead to increased health risks during exercise.
Adverse Events & Safety
If at any point during participation the client experiences symptoms such as chest pain, severe shortness of breath, dizziness, fainting, unexplained rapid heartbeat, severe joint pain, or any other alarming symptoms, the client must immediately stop all exercise.
Where symptoms are severe, persistent, or concerning, the client must seek urgent medical assistance or contact emergency services.
Stamford Sports Performance must be informed as soon as reasonably possible of any such incident so the programme can be reviewed and adjusted accordingly. Any adverse events will be documented and considered when modifying future exercise prescriptions.
Limitation of Stamford Sports Performance’s Liability
In the event the client fails to disclose any undiagnosed health issues, changes in health status, changes to current medication or new medication prescriptions, Stamford Sports Performance shall not be held liable for any adverse consequences that may arise during or as a result of the exercise programme or in the future as a result of the exercise programme.
By choosing to engage with our services, the client acknowledges and agrees that Stamford Sports Performance will not be responsible or held accountable for any injuries, complications, or health issues that may occur due to the omission of relevant health information and medications or changes in health status and medications whist enrolled on the programme.

Pricing and Discounts
Stamford Sports Performance offers a single service with consistent inclusions. Pricing is determined by programme duration and is confirmed prior to enrolment.
Programmes are offered in defined duration blocks. Longer programme durations may be offered in incremental three-month periods. Where longer programme durations are selected, structured discounts will apply in accordance with the pricing structure in effect at the time of enrolment.
A founder’s offer is available to the first ten clients who enrol in the service. Where applied, founder pricing constitutes a contractual entitlement, including any renewal or ongoing discounts explicitly agreed at the point of enrolment.
Founder pricing and programme-length discounts are personal to the client, non-transferable, and conditional upon continued compliance with these Terms and Conditions and standards of professional conduct.
Stamford Sports Performance reserves the right to withdraw preferential pricing or discount entitlements where a client is in breach of these Terms and Conditions or engages in behaviour that is abusive, inappropriate, or disruptive to service delivery.
Withdrawal of preferential pricing does not prevent the client from continuing the service at standard rates.
Pricing structures may be reviewed periodically. Any changes do not affect the pricing agreed for an active programme period unless explicitly agreed.
Refunds
Clients are eligible for a full refund under the following conditions:
-
The refund request is made within 14 days of the initial purchase date, which complies with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Commencement of Services Within the Cooling-Off Period
Services may commence immediately following enrolment, confirmation of payment, acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, and receipt of any required medical clearance.
The statutory 14-day cooling-off right remains fully applicable from the date of purchase, regardless of whether services have commenced during this period.
For the purpose of this policy, programme completion percentage is calculated based on elapsed programme duration relative to the total agreed programme period.
Completion of 80% does not automatically entitle the client to a refund. Engagement, compliance with the prescribed programme, and submission of requested documentation will be considered when assessing any request.
Clients seeking a refund must demonstrate active participation by submitting:
-
Completed workout logs or journals
-
Progress measurements (before and after the programme)
-
Any other relevant documentation requested which aids in demonstrating compliance with the programme
Where refunds are sought, any items provided as part of the programme must either be:
-
Returned to Stamford Sports Performance, or
-
Deducted from the refund amount at the original cost of goods to Stamford Sports Performance
Partial refunds may be considered in situations where a client is unable to continue due to valid unforeseen circumstances, such as newly identified medical investigations, diagnosed medical conditions, or genuine emergencies. These cases will be reviewed individually and Stamford Sports Performance will work with the client to achieve a fair and reasonable resolution.
Refunds will not be provided due to lack of motivation, change of mind, or non-compliance with the prescribed programme.
Any refund issued beyond the statutory 14-day cooling-off period is granted at the sole discretion of Stamford Sports Performance. The approval of any individual refund request does not create precedent and does not establish entitlement to refunds in future cases.
